Australian Natural Milk Association is a dairy manufacturer in Derrimut. We operate two shifts, 5 days a week and have a fantastic team of people who are the lifeblood of the business.

The company is committed to developing a first class Quality Assurance Programme and is seeking a permanent full time Quality Control Officer to join our quality team. New graduate students are also welcomed. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the food safety program, good document control in accordance with internal policies and regulatory quality standards and play an integral role in monitoring product quality and troubleshooting quality issues. The role actively liaises with Management, Production and Warehouse teams.



The key focus of this position is to:

Promote and champion quality and food safety across the site.
Coordinate and conduct on line checks to ensure that product manufactured meets customer expectations and legal compliance.
Ensure that the documents are properly filled.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Sampling for external testing & retention sampling.
Reviewing ingredient inspections and raising supplier non-conformances.
Verification of production paperwork.
Organising and conducting pre-release checks including sensory evaluation and grading.
Rodent & pest control checks.
Cleaning and Sanitation Program, including environmental monitoring.
Allergen management program, including allergen swabbing and finished product testing.
Analytical testing and calibration
Training and Document Control


Applicants should have the following attributes, qualifications and experience:

Degree in Science or relevant experience
Mandarin speaker has advantage
Highly effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Sound computer skills & ability to convert data into useful user-friendly information.
Is organised, methodical and can prioritise to ensure specific goals are achieved.
