This is a junior accountant role in the Australian local subsidiary of a well-known HK property development and HK listed company. Our Australian office is located at Sydney CBD and is close to public transport.

Description of the role:
Reporting to the Finance Manage, your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with accounting tasks that are required by the Finance Manager
2. Preparation of payments files and supporting documents, and managing the approvals flow for payments application
3. Assisting with company internal payroll and conducting daily bookkeeping input and maintenance.
4. Preparation of bank reconciliations.
5. Assisting with finalisation of monthly accounts.
6. Assisting in the preparation of IAS/BAS/FBT returns.
7. Ensures efficient management and maintenance of the front office conducting general office administration duties including answering phone, mail, filing and meeting and greet clients etc.
8. Ad hoc administration/reporting when required.
The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:
• Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 1 – 2 years relevant financial accounting experience.
• Ability to quickly learn systems, experience with Xero system would be very beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A Mandarin or Cantonese native speaker is preferred with proficient skills in English.
